We've provided data from the previous application cycle to help students assess their chances of being admitted to a particular law school.

All applicant data contained here was compiled by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) between September 2015 and June 2016, and provided to us in April of 2017. Information about nationwide applicant volumes can be found on the LSAC website.

Illinois Seniors

We're proud to report that for the 2015-2016 application cycle, 91 percent of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seniors applying to law school were accepted, which was well above the national average of 76 percent. This breaks down as follows.

In addition to our University of Illinois seniors, last year approximately 170 University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign alumni applied to law school. This is consistent with nationwide trends reflecting that most law school applicants now are working for 1-3 years prior to entering law school.

This data includes everyone who graduated 1 or more years ago from Illinois and applied to law school in 2015-2016. We've separated this information from the senior applicant data so that students and alumni can more easily compare themselves to their peer group when considering the successful profiles for individual schools listed below.
