

The LSAT Jumpstart program is a series of workshops hosted annually by the Pre-Law Advising Services office to support students’ preparation for the LSAT. This program is primarily designed for students (and alumni) planning to take the LSAT in the upcoming 4-12 months. This program provides an excellent foundation to begin LSAT study and learn about various LSAT resources available to prospective law students.

Dates: Tuesday, January 27, 2026, and Wednesday, January 28, 2026 | between 6:00 – 8:30 pm.

LSAT Q&A and Overview of the Kaplan All Access Program
Join Pre-Law Advising Services for a brief introduction to LSAT resources at Illinois, including the Kaplan All Access Program. Stop by for quick questions and for a brief overview of the Kaplan All Access Program and how currently enrolled University of Illinois students can access live online LSAT prep for free!
LSAC Overview of the LSAT and LSAT Resources
Prepare for test day by getting to know the LSAT. In this session, a representative from LSAC will provide an overview of the LSAT, share information on LSAT support and resources available through LSAC, and provide details about the LSAT exam including administration, logistics, scoring, and fees.
Reading Comprehension Workshop with Kaplan
In this workshop, an LSAT instructor, Glen Stohr, will discuss the Reading Comprehension portion of the LSAT. The purpose of LSAT Reading Comprehension questions is to measure the ability to read, with understanding and insight, examples of lengthy and complex materials similar to those commonly encountered in law school.
Logical Reasoning Workshop with Kaplan
In this workshop, an LSAT instructor, Glen Stohr, will discuss the will discuss the Logical Reasoning portion of the LSAT. These questions are designed to evaluate your ability to examine, analyze, and critically evaluate arguments as they occur in ordinary language.
LSAT Peer Perspectives with Recent LSAT Takers
Hear from a panel of recent LSAT takers as they share their perspectives and tips for a successful LSAT experience.
